For us at Nuki, quality has the highest priority. Nevertheless, errors cannot be completely avoided. In the course of our routine quality control we unfortunately had to discover that one component of a production batch of our Smart Lock 3.0 is defective. This defect can lead to a limited Bluetooth range of the device. The affected devices can be identified via the Smart Lock ID. All affected devices will of course be replaced by us free of charge. Please note that only the Nuki Smart Lock 3.0 is affected. All other devices, especially the Nuki Smart Lock 3.0 Pro, are fully functional.
You can easily check whether your device is affected:
Enter your Smart Lock ID in the field below. You can find the ID of your Nuki Smart Lock on the back of the device or in your Nuki app by tapping on the desired Smart Lock and opening the lock settings (“Features & Configuration” or “Administration”). In the bottom section you will find your Smart Lock ID.
We compare your ID with our database and you can immediately see if your device has to be replaced.
If your device is affected, just follow the instructions to start the replacement process.
Thank you for filling in your information. You have now started the replacement process of your defective device. The next steps are as follows:
Please create a return label to send back your defective device to us later in the process. This step initiates the immediate dispatch of your new device.
As soon as you have successfully created the return label, we will automatically dispatch your new replacement device. Simultaneously, you will receive an email notification to keep you up to date.
Please send the defective device back to us within two weeks upon arrival of your new device. Remember to use the return label you generated in step one to do so.
To generate the return label you will receive a separate email with more detailed instructions. Alternatively, you can also create the label now by clicking on the button below. After doing so or clicking on the link in the email, you will be guided to a form. Please type in your delivery address and dispatch the form.
Important notice: Please note that you can only register your Smart Lock for replacement once. After doing so in the previous steps, you will not be able to register it again.
